The Louisiana Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment (LaPOST) document is a quality initiative of the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum, a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to reshaping health care in Louisiana. Approved as Act 954 in the 2010 regular session of the State Legislature, LaPOST is an evidence-based model designed to improve end-of-life care for those with serious, advanced illnesses.
Value to Your Organization
In 2018, we partnered with Vynca to develop a statewide eRegistry, enabling clinicians to electronically complete and submit forms, query registry of any form, access forms in real-time, and receive notifications with EHR integration.
We Believe in Health Equity
The Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum (LHCQF) is committed to advancing health equity for all people in our state. We strive to promote diversity and are committed to addressing the significant health disparities that have been illuminated by the Covid-19 pandemic. We cannot advance health equity alone, and it will not be accomplished immediately. The path to equity and justice and medicine requires years of collaboration and cooperation. We are in.
